I went here for my first day of vacation and I kept coming back every morning because Ialways had such a pleasant experience here. Their coffee is delicious and well made. Their food is as amazing as their drinks. The place is clean, there's a good amount of seating and the staff are incredibly friendly. Open for everyone as well
Awesome & affordable hot chocolate, service is great, and an amazing study spot. One of my favourite spots in Halifax
Stopped in at the Wired Monk yesterday afternoon for the first time. It is a really cozy spot. The staff were very welcoming and cheery! I had a cappuccino and it was really good, a good price for the size too (it seemed big, maybe just because it was a tall mug haha). There was lots of seating and I got a spot looking out the window onto Morris St. Nice soundtrack, chill piano music too. Wish I could've stayed longer...
Loved this place. Great coffee at fair price. Soft background relaxing music, cute bistro tables & nice comfortable upholstered chairs. Stumble upon it walking around Halifax; just a couple of blocks from my cruise ship. Free wifi & exceptionally clean washroom. Initially just needed a washroom but walking inside, it felt so pleasant that I got black coffee & stayed for 1 hours. Didn’t try their food but it looked appetizing.
The vanilla chai frap is so yummy! Best drink ever. I love the jazz music that was playing and it is a cozy little spot in a good location
I also got the breakfast while I was here, I forgot to get a picture of it. The atmosphere of this place was cozy & I really enjoyed my strawberry mocha. (One of their specials) I didn’t get a chance to look at the down stairs but I will the next time I’m in!
The barista/cashier was really friendly ! I thought the hot chocolate was a little expensive, so I got a mocha frape instead and was very pleasantly surprised that I could have it made with decaf coffee instead of regular, as that has been unheard of for me in cafes until visiting this way. The almond croissant was a really good price so I got that as well and it was sooo good. Love that this place opens so early, will definitely be back for a coffee/breakfast before work again
Nice spot on the corner my wife and I found in passing. Careful, as looking from the outside across the street it may look closed however as you approach it’s open! Both Cappuccino and hot chocolate were very good with a side muffin for each of us. Service was 5 star as they were delightful to interact with and polite as we closed our transaction.
